ANTIQUE QUILTS FROM 1800'S

Collen brought some very old quilts that she found in one of her relatives house.  These quilts were made by women in the middle of the 19th century, probably around 1845.  Thank you for sharing apart of quilt history!

Circa 1845. Made by Harriet Osborn, aka Great Great Aunt Hat!

Victorian Crazy Quilt. Made By Aunt Lizzie Armour, before 1895

Suzi demonstrated how to make a pineapple block using Creative Grids Pineapple trim tool ruler.

Mario gave a talk about Grain Direction.  Mario states: Grain of fabric matters greatly when making a garment but is not always discussed when cutting fabric pieces for a quilt.
