May Program and Block of the Month Info

Dear LIMOD members,

As you already know, due to miscommunication with the church, our April meeting was cancelled. Karen Hagqquist and I wanted to give you the next two blocks of the month which are due at the May meeting. On the Gen X Quilters site, the next two blocks are 265 (Broken Herringbone) and either 146 (Radiant Ring) or 180 (Rolling Stone). Blocks 146 and 180 are basically the same blocks, except one is paper pieced and the other one is traditionally pieced. If you decide to do the paper pieced version (146) make sure the template that you print measures 4 1/2 ". You will need four copies. When I printed mine, it came just a hair shy. I guess it depends on your printer. just be mindful of that. It was really easy to make otherwise. There will be two final blocks announced at the May meeting whic should give you 12 blocks. At the May meeting, we will be playing fabric Bingo. Please follow instructions posted blow. Bring up to two finished bingo blocks, markers (buttons, pennies, or M&Ms) plus a fat quarter per block to play.
